ALANYA BRANCH

Alanya is a district of Antalya, 135 kilometre to the city centre. It is surrounded by Gazipaşa in the east, Manavgat and Side in the west. Known worldwide as the pearl of the Turkish Riviera, Alanya is a popular tourist site thanks to its beautiful and unpolluted beaches that extend for kilometres, its historical and cultural wealth, multicultural way of life, natural parks, favourable climate, shopping centres, various sports facilities and vivid night life.

TÖMER Alanya Branch was set up as a sub-branch of TÖMER Antalya Branch in October 2001 within the structure of the ALTSO; the branch, consisting of 4 classrooms, aimed to meet language learning demand in Antalya. In July 2005, it became a branch of TÖMER. In September 2005, the branch was moved to its own building. There are 10 classrooms, a DVD Club and a cafeteria in the new building. Since the branch started serving in its new premises, several protocols have been signed with various government and private institutions. According to an agreement reached between TÖMER and the GOYİT (Gazipaşa Otogar Yaptırma İşletme ve Turizmi Geliştirme Derneği) and with contributions by the Municipality of Gazipaşa, another unit consisting of 2 classrooms has also been set up in Gazipaşa. Languages taught at TÖMER Alanya Branch include English, German, Russian and Turkish as a foreign language.
