ANTALYA BRANCH

 

The city of Antalya is situated by the Bay of Antalya on the Mediterranean coast; located on rocks called “Falez”, the city is at an altitude of 39 metres from sea level. Plains of various sizes that lie between the coast and the Taurus Mountains that rise to a height of 3086 metres are one prominent feature of the city. There lie numerous beaches and steep rocks on the coastline. Cliffs on the Taurus as well as caves close to the coastline add to the beauty.

 

In addition to its being a tourist site, Antalya is a city of culture and arts. There are many culture centres, art galleries, cinemas and recreation centres in the city. Because of its unique location, Antalya is a centre of focus for cultural activities.

 

Around TÖMER Antalya Branch are situated such culture centres as the State Theatre, the Greater City Theatre, Drama Workshop, the State Opera and Ballet House and various bookshops.
