TURKISH COURSES FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSESCourses in “Diction and Public Address” for Accurate and Effective Speech
In this course, learners learn features of written and spoken language, sounds in Turkish and prosodic features of the language. There are also activities related with the use of diaphragmatic voice, rate of speech, intonation and stress, articulation to help eliminate speech defects, as well as activities aimed to eliminate defects related with expressing oneself. Phases of planned speech activities with the ultimate aim of effective speech are: body language, image, improvisation, speech before an audience, individual communication, creative speech.
This course covers a period of 2 months, a total of 48 class hours. Course fee is 370 YTL.
Courses in “Speed Reading” to Keep Abreast with the Changing Times
This course is for those who would like to improve their reading speed. Learners learn benefits of speed reading and participate in activities in scanning, using brain efficiently, improving active visual domain. Other activities include viewing in blocks and reading comprehension.
This course covers a total of 20 class hours. Course fee is 240 YTL.
Courses in “Creative Writing” for Accurate and Effective Writing
It is a scientific fact that language and thought cannot be separated. Our “Creative Writing” rests on this fact; the aim is consciousness raising in the use of mother tongue, writing flawlessly, expressing oneself in an accurate, original and aesthetic way, forming artistic texts.
This course covers a period of 2 months, a total of 48 class hours. Course fee is 370 YTL.
Learners attending and successfully completing Turkish Courses for Specific Purposes are granted a participation certificate by Ankara University.
